By purchasing an animal, placing a deposit, entering into a payment plan, or placing a bid in an auction through MSB Reptiles, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the applicable terms below.

MSB Reptiles currently accepts:

• Zelle
• PayPal
• Venmo
• Cash for in-person transactions

Animals are not considered reserved or sold until the required payment or deposit has been received.

Short-term payment plans of up to 90 days may be available on animals priced at $500 or more.

Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing:

• A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to begin a payment plan and reserve the animal.
• The remaining balance must be paid within the agreed-upon timeframe.
• Animals will not be shipped, transferred, or released to the buyer until the balance is paid in full.
• If the buyer cancels the purchase or is unable to complete the payment plan within the agreed timeframe, the animal will be made available for sale again and all payments made toward the animal, including the deposit, will be forfeited.

Please contact MSB Reptiles before submitting a deposit if you would like to discuss payment-plan options. We are always happy to work with buyers when possible.

All reptiles requiring shipment are sent via FedEx Priority Overnight through a reputable reptile shipping service.

Shipments are generally scheduled Monday through Wednesday. Thursday arrival/pickup may be considered the latest acceptable option depending on circumstances.

Shipping is always dependent upon appropriate weather conditions at the origin, destination, and applicable FedEx hubs.

As a general policy, MSB Reptiles will not ship when temperatures are expected to fall below 40°F or exceed 90°F. Additional weather conditions or carrier circumstances may require a shipment to be delayed even when temperatures fall within this range.

The safety of the animal will always take priority over a preferred shipping date.

Appropriate insulated packaging and heat or cold packs will be used when necessary.

FedEx hub pickup is strongly encouraged whenever possible to reduce unnecessary transit time and provide the safest possible delivery.

Shipping is not included in the listed price unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Please contact MSB Reptiles for an accurate shipping quote. Shipping costs vary based on destination, package size, carrier rates, and other factors.

The buyer is responsible for providing accurate shipping and contact information. MSB Reptiles is not responsible for delays or delivery issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the buyer.

MSB Reptiles guarantees live arrival when all applicable shipping requirements are followed.

For shipments held at a FedEx hub, the package must be picked up within 2 hours of becoming available for pickup.

For approved residential deliveries, the buyer or an authorized recipient must be available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt.

If there is any concern regarding the condition of an animal upon arrival, the buyer must contact MSB Reptiles immediately upon receiving the animal and provide clear photographs and/or video of the animal and packaging.

Failure to promptly retrieve, receive, or report an issue with a shipment may void the Live Arrival Guarantee.

The Live Arrival Guarantee does not cover circumstances caused by the buyer, including failure to pick up the animal within the required timeframe, missed residential delivery, incorrect shipping information, or unauthorized changes to the agreed delivery arrangements.

Local pickup is available in Huntersville, North Carolina, and may be arranged at an agreed-upon location.

There is no shipping charge for standard local pickup.

Pickup arrangements should be made within a reasonable timeframe after the animal has been paid in full. Animals requiring an extended hold must be approved by MSB Reptiles in advance.

At the time of sale, MSB Reptiles guarantees that animals are:

• Healthy to the best of our knowledge
• Properly sexed
• Accurately represented regarding known genetics to the best of our ability

Genetic information is based on known pairings, lineage, visual identification, breeding results, and/or information provided by previous breeders when applicable.

Once an animal has arrived safely or has been transferred to the buyer through local pickup or meet-up, the buyer assumes responsibility for the animal's husbandry, housing, feeding, environmental conditions, and continued care.

Buyers are expected to research the species they are purchasing and be prepared to provide appropriate long-term care.

MSB Reptiles is always happy to assist our customers with husbandry questions before or after a purchase.

Payment plans for animals purchased through an auction are available by prior approval only.

If you would like to use a payment plan for an auction animal, you must contact MSB Reptiles before the auction endsand receive approval.

• Payment-plan requests made after an auction has ended may be declined.
• Any approved auction payment plan must be completed within the agreed-upon timeframe.
• Animals must be paid in full before they are shipped, picked up, or transferred to the buyer.
• Failure to complete an agreed-upon payment plan will result in forfeiture of the animal and all payments made.

Placing a bid without arranging a payment plan beforehand means the buyer should be prepared to complete payment under the normal auction payment terms.

Certain auctions may be specifically designated as LOCAL PICKUP / MEET-UP ONLY.

When an auction is listed this way, shipping is not available unless MSB Reptiles explicitly agrees otherwise in writing.

Local pickup in or near Huntersville, NC is available at no additional charge.

When scheduling permits, MSB Reptiles may meet the buyer at an agreed-upon location within approximately a 45-minute drive of Huntersville, NC at no additional charge.

Buyers requesting a meet-up farther than approximately 45 minutes away must contact MSB Reptiles before placing a bid.

Longer-distance meet-ups are subject to availability, must be approved in advance, and may require an additional travel fee based on distance.

Placing a bid does not guarantee that MSB Reptiles can accommodate a requested meet-up location.

MorphMarket may require or display a flat-rate shipping amount on an auction designated for local pickup.

If a flat-rate shipping amount appears on a Local Pickup / Meet-Up Only auction, it does not mean that shipping is available.

When applicable and agreed upon in advance, this amount may instead be applied toward a longer-distance meet-up/travel fee.

Buyers completing standard local pickup will not be charged an additional pickup fee.

It is the bidder's responsibility to read the complete auction description and confirm that they can complete local pickup or an approved meet-up before placing a bid.

By bidding on an auction marked LOCAL PICKUP / MEET-UP ONLY, the buyer acknowledges and agrees that the animal will not be shipped and that the buyer is responsible for completing an approved pickup or meet-up arrangement.

All bids should be considered a commitment to purchase.

By placing a bid on an MSB Reptiles auction, the bidder confirms that they have read and agree to the auction description and applicable MSB Reptiles Store Policies, including payment, shipping, pickup, meet-up, and payment-plan requirements.

Please ask any questions regarding an animal or the terms of an auction before placing a bid.

MSB Reptiles does not knowingly sell animals to anyone under 18 years of age without the involvement and written consent of a parent or legal guardian.

It is the buyer's responsibility to determine whether possession of the animal is legal in their city, county, state, or other applicable jurisdiction before purchasing or bidding.

MSB Reptiles is happy to assist buyers in locating applicable regulations; however, the buyer remains responsible for complying with all applicable laws, permits, restrictions, and ownership requirements.

MSB Reptiles reserves the right to decline or cancel a sale when reasonably necessary to protect the welfare of an animal, subject to any applicable marketplace rules and refund obligations.
